Lindsay Dee Lohan is born in New York City to Michael and Dina Lohan.

Lindsay and her friend Paris Hilton have a falling out
While exiting a Hollywood club, Brandon Davis, close friend of Paris Hilton, calls Lindsay a “firecrotch.”
She tells Elle magazine that she has never seen the “firecrotch” video and never will. She says of Paris, “Obviously, she’s very comfortable making videos.” She also says that Paris and Brandon have been sending her prank voicemails.

During filming for Georgia Rule, James G. Robinson, the CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, sends Lindsay a letter that gets released on the Smoking Gun. It reads, in part: “Since the commencement of principal photography of Georgia Rule, you have frequently failed to arrive on time to the set. Today, you did not show for work (all day). I am now told you don’t plan to work tomorrow because you are “not feeling well.” You and your representatives have told us that your various late arrivals and absences from the set have been the result of illness; today we were told it was “heat exhaustion.” We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so called “exhaustion.” We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior.”
She stars in Bobby, a film directed by Emilio Estevez about the hours leading up to Senator Robert F. Kennedy’s assassination. It is an ensemble film also starring Harry Belafonte, Nick Cannon, Emilio Estevez, Laurence Fishburne, Heather Graham, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Hunt, Joshua Jackson, Ashton Kutcher, Shia LaBeouf, William H. Linsday claims that Paris hit her in the arm with a drink at a party. She says: “She hit me with a drink and poured it all over me and it hurts and it’s not okay. And I’m sorry for that everyone thinks I’m crazy. I’m not; I’m just trying to act.”

She is charged with a DUI and possession of cocaine after she loses control of her Mercedes in Beverly Hills.
She is taken into custody after suspicion of driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, and possession of cocaine after chasing an SUV at high speeds.

She reaches a plea deal and pleads guilty to misdemeanor cocaine use and driving under the influence. She is sentenced to one day in jail, 10 days of community service, and three years’ probation.
In a statement to MTV News, she says: “It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs. Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to charges in my case. No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself. I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have. I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life. Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so.”
She spends 84 minutes in jail in Lynwood, California. She is released due to overcrowding.
A Beverly Hills judge issues a $50,000 warrant because he believes that Lindsay has not been complying with the terms of her probation stemming form her 2007 arrest. He rescinds the warrant after Lindsay’s attorney, Shawn Holley, proves that she has been in compliance with her probation terms.
Lindsay’s probation is extended for an additional 12 months because she has not yet completed her court-ordered alcohol education program.
Lindsay Lohan’s Indian Journey airs on the BBC. It is an hour-long documentary narrated by and starring Lindsay Lohan as she talks to victims of human trafficking in Delhi, Kolkata, and a village in West Bengal.
