Aug. 15, 1972: Born as Benjamin Geza Affleck in Berkeley, California
to Chris and Tim Affleck.

1977: Ben wants a dog but he just first walk an imaginary one to prove to his mom that he will make the best dog owner ever. However, Ben only lasts five days walking his imaginary dog and never gets a real one.

1980: Has a minor role in The Dark End of the Street.

1981: Meets Matt Damon two blocks from his place and they quickly become best friends, watching X-Men and Godzilla reruns and playing Little League baseball together.

1984: Gets a part in PBS mini-series The Voyage of the Mimi.

1990: Graduates from Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School.

1991: Drops out of the University of Vermont after one semester.

1992: Drops out of Occidental College where he took up Middle Eastern
studies.

1992: He and Matt Damon finish the screenplay for Good Will
Hunting
after many beers and numerous faxes.

Sept. 4, 1993: Plays Fred O'Bannion in Dazed and Confused with Milla Jovovich.

Oct. 20, 1995: Plays Shannon Hamilton in Kevin Smith's Mallrats with Shannon Doherty and Jason Lee.

April 4, 1997: Plays Holden McNeil in another Kevin Smith movie, Chasing Amy, with Jason Lee.

Dec. 5, 1997: Damon and Affleck co-write and star in Good Will Hunting. The film receives wide acclaim and becomes the highest grossing film in Miramax history.

July 1, 1998: Plays A.J. Frost in Armageddon with Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thorton, and Liv Tyler.

Dec. 1998: Plays Ned Alleyn in Shakespeare in Love with Gwyneth Paltrow.

July 31, 2001: Charlie Cheen drives Ben to Promises Rehabilitation Center where Ben, of his own free will, admits himself for alcohol abuse.

Aug. 22, 2001: Makes a cameo appearance in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

April 12, 2002: Plays Gavin Banek in Changing Lanes with Samuel L. Jackson.

May 31, 2002: Plays Jack Ryan in The Sum of All Fears with Morgan Freeman.

Nov. 2002: Gives Jennifer Lopez a $3.5 million dollar engagement ring.

Feb. 14, 2003: Plays Matt Murdock in Daredevil with Jennifer Garner, Colin Farrell, and Michael Clarke Duncan.

Jan. 2004: He and Lopez break up, and citing the strain of too much media attention as the cause of their split.

June 2004: Wins $356,000 at the California State Poker Championships where he beats some of the best poker players in the world.

May 7, 2005: His girlfriend Jennifer Garner is rumored to be three months pregnant.

June 29, 2005: Marries Jennifer Garner.
