Carrot Top Timeline

Feb. 25, 1967: Born as Scott Thompson in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

1986: Works as a bank courier while sharpening his comic skills but within the year he gets frustrated due to the fact he cannot break into any club acts and quits the funny business. His car is eventually repossessed and he ends up shucking oysters.

1987: A club owner shocked Carrot Top isn't doing comedy anymore and offers him a New Year's Eve gig.

1990: Gets his first booking outside of Florida which leads him to North Carolina. Eventually ends up in California making a TV appearance on Comic Strip Live.

1992: Gets his first break on the Tonight Show.

1993: Is named College Entertainer of the Year and Comedian of the Year by The National Association of Campus.

1994: Wins the American Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-Up.

1995: Wins American Comedy Award for Comic of the Year. Also plays a clerk in Hourglass.

1996: Simon and Schuster published Carrot Top's first book, Junk In The Trunk: Some Assembly Required.

Jan, 1, 1996: Plays the Morgue Truck Driver in Pure Danger.

Mar. 13, 1998: Stars in Chairman of the Board.

July 14, 1998: Stars in Dennis the Menace Strikes Again with Don Rickles.

Nov. 6, 2003: Says in a F5, an online mag, that his eyebrows are not waxed, they're naturally blonde...and are penciled in.

July 29, 2005: Stars in Aristocrats with George Carlin, Whoopi Goldberg, and Drew Carey.
