Drew Barrymore is born into the infamous Barrymore family in Culver City, California to John Drew Barrymore and Jaid Barrymore (born Ildiko Jaid Mako). Her grandfather is John Barrymore and her grandmother is Dolores Costello. Her great aunt and uncle are Ethel Barrymore and Lionel Barrymore.

Makes her debut in a dog food commercial. During the take, she is bitten by her canine co-star.
