Her parents divorce.
Late 80s
Attends East Carolina University where she majors in journalism and becomes a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
1991
After graduating from university, she gets a job as a weathergirl at the Greenville CBS affiliate. Soon after, she heads for L.A. to take acting lessons.
