April 10, 1988: Haley Joel Osment is born in Los Angeles to actor Eugene Osment and teacher Theresa Osment.

March 10, 1992: Sister Emily Osment is born.

1994: Plays the role of Forest Gump's son in Forest Gump with Tom Hanks.

1999: Plays the role of Cole Seer in the M. Night Shyamalan film, The Sixth Sense, with Bruce Willis. He has the famous line, "I see dead people."

2000: Is nominated for an Academy Award for his role in The Sixth Sense.

Oct. 20, 2000: Stars in Pay It Forward based on the Catherine Ryan Hyde novel of the same name.
