Dec. 16, 1963: Born as Benjamin Bratt in San Francisco, California to Eldy and Peter Bratt.

1969: His mom, a native American activist, takes him with his siblings to Alcatraz prison where she takes part in the takeover. For over a year, they go to Alcatraz two or three times a week.

1982: Graduates from Lowell High School in San Francisco, California. His nickname throughout high school is "Scarecrow" due to the fact he is extremely thin.

1986: Graduates from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a BFA in Theater. Also is a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

1990: Dates film production assistant Monika McClure.

June 7, 1991: Appears in Bright Angel.

1991: Appears in Chains of Gold with John Travolta and Joey Lawrence.

April 16, 1993: Appears in Bound By Honor with Billy Bob Thornton.
